NEWS: Kingsbridge Foundation Announces Partnership with Cleary’s for Dragon Boat Race Fundraiser

Kingsbridge Foundation, the charitable arm of the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group is excited to announce that Cleary’s have generously agreed to sponsor the upcoming Dragon Boat Race, taking place on Saturday 12th April.

This exciting event promises a day of adrenaline-fueled competition on the water, bringing together teams from across the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group, including our charity partners NIPANC and a dedicated team from Cleary’s. Each crew will battle it out to claim the coveted title of Dragon Boat Race Champions while each aiming to raise £2000.

Additional prizes will be awarded for Best Fundraising Team and Best Dressed Team, ensuring a fun and memorable day for all involved.

Cleary Contracting is a leading construction and contracting company known for its expertise and commitment to excellence. Over the years, they have built a strong working relationship with Kingsbridge, playing a vital role in the successful delivery of new developments across the group. Their dedication to quality, efficiency, and safety has made them a trusted partner in helping Kingsbridge expand and enhance its facilities, ensuring each project meets the highest standards.

Racing for a Worthy Cause

All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Cancer Fund for Children, supporting the remarkable fundraising challenge undertaken by our very own Dr Martin Shields and Dr Suresh Tharma, who will be tackling the 26 Mountains2Mayo Challenge in June. This challenge will see them climbing Ireland’s highest peaks to raise £1 million for Cancer Fund for Children to ensure that no child across all 32 counties of Ireland has to face cancer alone.

This is our biggest fundraiser to date, with teams from across the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group competing to be crowned Dragon Boat Race Champions 2025! Show your support and help our teams reach their targets of £2,000 each.
