Mr. Marzouk is an experienced Consultant General, Laparoscopic and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. He has specialised in advanced laparoscopic procedures including Benign UGI, bariatric surgery, anti-reflux surgery, abdominal wall hernia repairs, and endoscopic procedures.

Currently, Mr. Marzouk works as a Consultant Surgeon at Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland, UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edenborough (FRCS) and American College of Surgeons (FACS). He also holds a MSc in General Surgery and MD in General Surgery from Cairo University, Egypt.

Mr. Marzouk has worked in leading academic hospitals in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the UK. He is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Cairo University and has over 50 publications and presentations at major conferences.

Mr. Marzouk is a highly skilled surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive and bariatric procedures. He has over 20 years of surgical experience in leading hospitals in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and the UK. His personal interests include football, cycling, travel and swimming.

He has a record of excellent feedback from colleagues and my patients. His vision is to provide exceptional clinical care for all his patients, with the goals of achieving optimal outcomes, high patient satisfaction, and improved quality of life. He aims to treat each patient with compassion while applying his extensive surgical expertise. 

Mr. Marzouk has a strong ambition to help reduce waiting lists for surgeries in his region. By streamlining care pathways and mentoring other surgeons, He hopes to increase access to timely surgical treatments for the population in Northern Ireland.
